Live Cattle Futures are traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
The price of Live Cattle is quoted in cents per hundred weight.
The standard contract size is 40,000 hundred weight. The minimum
trading increment is a 0.025 cents.
Live Cattle prices are read as follows:
A price of 64.125 would be read as 64.125 cents per hundred weight
A move from 64.125 to 65.125 would be a difference of $400.00
excluding commissions and fees. The minimum change is 0.025 cents
or $10.00
Formula: $0.65125 - $0.64125 = $0.0100 *40,000 = $400.00
