Help on Platinum (PL)
NYMEX Platinum Futures are traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
The price of Platinum is quoted in dollars per troy ounce. The
standard contract size is 50 troy ounces. The minimum trading
increment is a 10 cents.
Platinum prices are read as follows:
A price of 310.80 would be read as $310.80 per troy ounce
A move from 310.80 to 311.80 would be a difference of $50.00
excluding commissions and fees. The minimum change is $0.10 dollar
or $5.00
Formula: $311.80 - $310.80 = $1.00 *50 = $50.00
